Our Approach
Impact
Impact work is about creating space for connection between a film and the people, communities, and organizations most deeply touched by its story.
We work with independent filmmakers to shape and carry out impact campaigns that are intentional and true to the spirit of the work. Our team is made up of filmmakers and creatives, so we know how personal these stories are, and how important it is that they travel with care.
The goal is not scale for its own sake. It's the kind of reach that invites reflection and lasting relationships.
If you’re curious about what we do or how we might work together, we’d love to hear from you!
-
Impact work begins with listening. we take time to understand the film, the filmmaker’s hopes for its reach, and the audiences and communities the story speaks to most directly.
From there, we help shape thoughtful, flexible pathways that support connection over time. That might include screenings, partnerships, community conversations, or other forms of engagement that allow the film to be experienced in ways that feel authentic and human. The work adapts to each film and its moment, always staying true to the story being told.
-
This work is well suited for films that are:
rooted in social, cultural, or community-centered themes
seeking meaningful engagement beyond traditional release
interested in building relationships through screenings, conversations, or partnerships
guided by care for both the story and the communities it reaches
Whether a film is early in its outreach or entering a new chapter, impact work can help create opportunities for connection that feel intentional, responsive, and lasting.
-
When impact work is done with care, films move beyond being watched and into relationship. They become part of conversations, classrooms, community spaces, and shared reflection.
Our role is to help support that process…creatively, collaboratively, and with deep respect for the work and the people it reaches.
