Academic outreach is about more than placing a film…it’s about finding the right educational context for the story. We work with independent films to help them connect with colleges, universities, libraries, and student communities in ways that feel thoughtful and intentional, focusing on educators and institutions already engaged in the questions the film raises.

This work begins with research and listening. We take time to understand the film’s themes, the filmmaker’s goals, and the academic spaces where the stories can make an impact. From there, we build bespoke outreach strategies that may include carefully curated contact lists, impactful outreach language, and guidance as you plan screenings, classroom use, and campus conversations.

The goal is not mass outreach, but alignment…connecting films with educational communities where the work can have lasting value.
